Special painting days at Burghley House

These special painting days at Burghley House are relaxed and informal with very informative demonstrations, useful tips and techniques.

"I think that Burghley is such a delight for any artist, there are so many beautiful aspects to choose from. I have combined a selection of these with other subjects which are my watercolour favourites. I really hope that you can join me on one or more of these special days, they are a chance to relax, enjoy the enchanting surroundings and the pleasure of painting in watercolour. I try to make the day stress-free, with lots of demonstration painting. Everyone has different abilities and the day is yours to paint at your own pace.  I do have some lovely comments from people at the end of each course, telling me how much they have enjoyed their day and how pleasantly surprised they are by what they have achieved."     Sandra

These special watercolour painting days will be held in the education rooms of the Brewhouse Centre, close to the main house. Just bring along your usual watercolour materials, plus extra watercolour paper to try out new techniques.
